Meet The Team | Viola Venner

Join us in welcoming one of our newest team members at Casey Peterson, LTD, Viola Venner. Viola joined us in mid-December as an Administrative Assistant.

Her varied career path — which included work as a commercial diver and Real Estate agent as well as stints in the restaurant and airline industries — makes her a great fit for handling the ever-changing nature of helping clients and managing our reception area.

Originally from Seattle, Viola has grown to love Rapid City. Her “very small, very amazing” circle is what lead her to Casey Peterson. Previously, she was responsible for the weekly catering during our peak season. Viola says she noticed what a great company it was, and when she saw we were hiring, she knew it would be a great fit for her.

Between them, Viola and her husband, Levi, have three kids — Sydney, 24, Kael, 16, and Vada, 14 — and one spunky grandson, Kailer.

When she’s not working, Viola’s probably watching Kael at a hockey rink or chasing Kailer, who you can sometimes find running around the firm, sucker in hand.

THREE QUESTIONS:

WHAT’S THE BEST MEAL YOU’VE EVER HAD?

The best meal I ever had was at Jean Georges in New York. It was a perfect mix of beauty and flavors.

WHAT ARE TWO ITEMS ON YOUR BUCKET LIST?

Two items on my bucket list are eating at a restaurant in Chicago called Alinea and seeing the Grand Canyon. I still have never been.

WHAT MOVIE CAN YOU WATCH A MILLION TIMES?

I think I’m old enough and secure enough now to admit that my all-time favorite movie is Dirty Dancing. “Nobody puts Baby in a corner!”

DON'T LIKE NUMBERS? WE DO.

At Casey Peterson, LTD, we understand not everyone loves the complexities of accounting like we do. That's what sets us apart from the rest. Our CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors truly love numbers, solving problems, and creating business and financial strategies for our clients.

We’re looking for clients who believe in good customer service — clients who want CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors who are big-picture thinkers and ethical problem solvers. We’re looking for relationships, not transactions.

If you want the same, we should talk.
