Meet The Team | Katy Denison

Join us in welcoming one of our newest team members at Casey Peterson, LTD, Katy Denison. She joined us as an associate in mid-November and was recently promoted to project manager.

After earning her associate’s degree from a small two-year college in Nevada, Missouri, Katy transferred to the University of South Dakota. There, she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies and business. After graduating, Katy decided she wasn’t quite ready to leave Vermillion, so she completed her MBA in 2017.

While going to school, Katy also started her own retail business. Successfully running an e-commerce business has taught her the ins and outs of managing the books and all of the steps required to turn a profit. Katy also worked for a full-serve ad agency after completing her MBA.

As a project manager, Katy will be working with our Organizational Optimization team on process improvement for our internal procedures. She helps us monitor performance and assigns the right team members to client projects as they arise. She also makes sure our team members are being used to their fullest potential.

In her free time, Katy enjoys golfing, home renovation projects, fly fishing, shopping, decorating, traveling, and spending time with her friends, family, two miniature Aussies and one Aussie-basset hound.
