Meet The Team | Hayden Jensen

Join us in welcoming one of our newest team members at Casey Peterson, LTD, Hayden Jensen. He joined us at the beginning of December as an Associate.

Hayden graduated from the University of Wyoming in May 2021 with a degree in accounting. His other job is with the Wyoming Air National Guard as an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Maintenance Specialist.

Keeping clients up to date about tax rules and the ever-changing regulations is an area Hayden would like to focus on. He plans to stay apprised of the major changes so he can keep clients informed and provide them with the best possible service.

Hayden says the people are the best part of our firm. He says everyone’s been welcoming and kind and that he can tell people enjoy their work and enjoy being here. According to Hayden, “happiness is contagious, and I can’t help but feel happy whenever I’m in the office.”

With a way array of interests, Hayden says he feels like he can’t keep up with all his hobbies. But his “Big 3” are photography, skiing, and working with electronics.

He’s been a huge fan of photography since taking a class in high school and tends to focus on long-exposure light painting and landscape photography. Skiing is his all-time favorite sport, and he takes a trip to Colorado or Montana every winter.

As an electrician with the Air National Guard, Hayden loves working with circuits and on computers. He’s done several projects on his truck and house and has even learned some computer programing.

Two books I really enjoyed that helped me tremendously while learning about investing were “A Random Walk Down Wall Street” and “One Up on Wall Street.” My favorite book series would still have to be “Harry Potter.”

THREE QUESTIONS:

WHAT WAS THE BEST CONCERT YOU EVER ATTENDED?

My roommate in Laramie, Wyoming, used to work for Cheyenne Frontier Days and got us and our other roommate free VIP tickets to Post Malone. We were at the very front of the stage and had free drinks the whole night. I don’t think I can ever go to another concert of his because I know nothing can top that night.

WHAT’S THE BEST MEAL YOU’VE EVER HAD?

An omelet and peanut butter and banana on toast. That was by no means a fancy meal, but after eating packaged MREs for a week out in the sand, anything fresh or hot tasted amazing.

WHAT’S YOUR SECRET TALENT THAT NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT?

I have a talent for inadvertently making viral videos. I’ve had 10 videos that got over a million views and three that got over 10 million views. The ones that got 10 million views were because my roommate and I were bored on a Friday night and made a 20-foot hall hat.
