Meet The Team | Carly Lortie

Join us in welcoming one of our newest team members at Casey Peterson, LTD, Carly Lortie. She joined us in January as an administrative assistant.

Carly helps process taxes as they come in and assists clients when making appointments with one of our team members. She says her goal is to help staffers and clients feel less stressed during the busyness of tax season.

Previously, Carly earned an associate of science degree in natural science. While in school, she worked part-time for an insurance company and then as an administrative assistant at a retirement community HOA. This is Carly’s first foray into the accounting profession, and she says she’s having fun learning something new.

After growing up in northern California, Carly moved to South Dakota with her family about a year and a half ago. In California, she lived in what was considered a small city, which is still 2.5 times the size of Rapid City, until she and her siblings graduated. After that, she and her family moved to a small farm community.

In her free time, Carly likes to read, bake, knit, and crochet. She says she’s constantly trying new things to create.
