Government Will Stop Using DUNS Number on April 4

03/23/2022 Tags: Announcements, In the News

The federal government will stop using the Dun & Bradstreet data universal numbering system — commonly called the DUNS number — on April 4, 2022.

If your organization does business with the federal government, you’ll need a Unique Entity Identifier, or UEI, created at SAM.gov. Keep in mind your organization will have to be registered in SAM.gov to qualify for federal awards.

If your organization is already registered at SAM.gov, you should already have your UEI. You can find your UEI on your entity registration record below your current DUNS number. You have to be signed in to your SAM.gov account to look at your organization’s records.

DON'T LIKE NUMBERS? WE DO.

At Casey Peterson, LTD, we understand not everyone loves the complexities of accounting like we do. That's what sets us apart from the rest. Our CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors truly love numbers, solving problems, and creating business and financial strategies for our clients.

We’re looking for clients who believe in good customer service — clients who want CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors who are big-picture thinkers and ethical problem solvers. We’re looking for relationships, not transactions.

If you want the same, we should talk.
