Employees making minimum wage in South Dakota will see a 40-cent bump — to $11.20 an hour — starting Jan. 1, 2024.

Also, for tipped employees, the hourly minimum wage will increase 20 cents to no less than $5.60 an hour.
And as always, there are exemptions for seasonal employees, babysitters, and outside salespeople.
