MEET THE TEAM | JAKE TRUJILLO

02/25/2021 Tags: Announcements

Join us in welcoming one of our newest team members at Casey Peterson, LTD, Jake Trujillo. He joined us at the beginning of December as an IT Systems Tech.

Jake was born and raised in Rapid City. He’s currently enrolled at Black Hills State University, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting with a minor in management information systems.

Accounting wasn’t Jake’s first choice. Originally, he went to school to become a nurse anesthetist. After realizing nursing wasn’t for him, he still felt the need to help people. That led him to dental hygiene, but that didn’t excite him as much as he hoped it would. Jake then earned an associate’s degree in applied health science and decided that was the end of his medical education. He then considered accounting, after remembering that his mother suggested it years ago. (According to Jake, “moms are always right.”) He started taking business classes and loved it.

In his rare free time, Jake loves being outside, specifically hiking, going to the lake, or working on cars.

DON'T LIKE NUMBERS? WE DO.

At Casey Peterson, LTD, we understand not everyone loves the complexities of accounting like we do. That's what sets us apart from the rest. Our CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors truly love numbers, solving problems, and creating business and financial strategies for our clients.

We’re looking for clients who believe in good customer service — clients who want CPAs, accountants, and financial advisors who are big-picture thinkers and ethical problem solvers. We’re looking for relationships, not transactions.

If you want the same, we should talk.
