There’s some good news for ag producers who are struggling because of the coronavirus.

The U.S. Department of Ag is now offering the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program 2. Farmers and ranchers who apply could receive federal assistance to help them “absorb some of the increased marketing costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.”

The application is now open until Dec. 11, 2020, and the USDA is offering a webinar about the program on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 1 p.m. MDT.
