Casey Peterson, LTD announced a $5,000 Modisett Ball Park donation as part of a challenge grant through the Rushville Community Fund.

The gift is part of the accounting firm’s 50th anniversary giving and will support the ball park while encouraging others in the community to pitch in, too. Through the challenge grant, Casey Peterson hopes local donors will help match the $5,000 contribution by the time the 2026 Class C Area Senior Tournament wraps up on Wednesday, July 29.

“Modisett Ball Park has been an important part of Rushville for generations and is a wonderful facility for the kids,” said Vince Ryan, CPA and shareholder in Casey Peterson’s Chadron office. “As our firm celebrates 50 years, we’re glad to support something that means so much to the community.”

Those who are interested in donating can do so on the Nebraska Community Foundation website at www.nebcommfound.org/give/rushville-community-fund. The ball park fund will be listed near the top of the giving options in the dropdown menu.
