Meet our new firm operations manager, Tyler Harnden! Tyler works out of our Rapid City office and answered all 15 questions, just like a thorough ops manager should.

  4. What do you do here? I manage and coordinate our multi-office operations, procedures, and resources to keep everything running smoothly and efficiently.
  5. Where did you or do you go to school, and if you got a degree, what was it in? University of Wyoming. Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing
  6. What did you do before you came to the firm? Sr. VP of Business Development for an I.T. company in Fort Collins, CO.
  7. Do you belong to any professional or community organizations? Tell us about them. I am the Executive Chairman of the Parent & Family Advisory Council for the Poudre Valley NICU. The board is comprised of individuals who have experienced the NICU firsthand and works closely with hospital staff to develop meaningful programs that support current and former NICU families.
  8. What did you want to be when you grew up? I’d always dreamed of becoming a pilot. I took several discovery flights and spoke with local pilots, many of whom described spending long stretches away from their families. I realized that lifestyle wasn’t for me, but my fascination with flight never went away. In 2012, I became a hang-glider pilot; however, I sold my glider after we started our family in 2018.
  9. What do you do for fun? My family and I really enjoy the outdoors and spend as much time camping, hiking, boating, biking, and fishing as possible. When we are not playing outdoors, I love tinkering on small projects and inventions. I have 3 provisional patents and 1 utility patent for my inventions.

  15. What’s on your bucket list? Sky diving and visiting all 63 National Parks (22 completed)
