Meet our newest associate, previously an intern in our Chadron office, Sawayer Haag, as he answered 13 questions about himself!

  1. What’s your name? Sawyer Haag
  2. What’s your title? Associate
  3. When did you start? I started as an intern in January of 2024 and began working full-time in January of 2026.
  4. What do you do here? I work on the tax team.
  5. Where did you or do you go to school, and if you got a degree, what was it in? I went to school at Chadron State and got a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus in accounting.
  6. What did you do before you came to the firm? I worked at Chadron Community Hospital as a purchasing associate.
  7. What did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a doctor.
  8. What do you do for fun? I enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, and hanging out with friends.
  9. What’s your favorite book? “The Grapes of Wrath” by John Steinbeck
  10. What’s your favorite podcast? “The Joe Rogan Experience”
  11. What’s your favorite movie? “A River Runs Through It”
  12. Who’s your favorite band? My favorite band is Caamp.
  13. What’s on your bucket list? I’d like to visit all of the National Parks.
