One of our newest associates, Kimm Mattson, tells a little about herself in the answers to 12 questions.

  1. What’s your name? Kim Mattson
  2. What’s your title? Associate
  3. When did you start? I started working as an intern in January 2024 and became a full-time associate in March.
  4. What do you do here? I work with the Attest Team on various Audit and Review engagements.
  5. Where did you or do you go to school, and if you got a degree, what was it in? I am completing my final semester at Black Hills State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a specialization in accounting.
  6. What did you do before you came to the firm? Before I came to the firm, I was the store manager at Hot Topic in the Rushmore Mall.
  7. What do you do for fun? In my free time, I like to garden and hike in the summer. I also like to sew, crochet, and bake.
  8. What’s your favorite book? “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer”
  9. What’s your favorite podcast? “Last Podcast on the Left” and “Swindled” are my current favorite podcasts.
