Join us in welcoming one of our newest team members at Casey Peterson, LTD, Shannon Haney. She joined us at the end of May as the office manager in our Gillette, Wyoming, office.
As office manager, Shannon will be the liaison between clients and our team members. She’ll be helping both sides with the function and quality of the office.
Shannon was born in Gillette and graduated from Douglas, Wyoming, in 2012. She’s moved almost 28 times and says she loves adventure. She’s also excited to be back home and closer to her family.
Although this is Shannon’s first time working in public accounting, she has 14 years of experience in customer service, leadership, and management. Shannon says she prides herself in her ability to learn quickly, ask questions, and grow no matter the lesson.
She attended Chadron State College and West Coast Baptist College, both of which she says helped her grow immensely. And she’s looking forward to learning more about the accounting world and where it takes her.
In her free time, Shannon enjoys reading, journaling, and spending time with her family and friends. She also loves hiking and camping — anything that keeps her mind working and allows her to test herself mentally and physically. Shannon describes herself as “one of the most outgoing, adventurous homebodies you will ever meet!”
