Casey Peterson & Associates, Ltd. (CP&A) is pleased to provide students from local colleges and universities with the hands-on experience of working for a public accounting firm through an internship program.

Interested applicants must be full-time students with a 3.0 GPA who have completed their Junior year and Intermediary Accounting classes. Audit coursework is not necessary, but recommended. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in Accountancy and have a desire to work in public accounting upon graduation.

CP&A prefers to provide internship opportunities during the second semester (January – April), but will also consider summer internships on request. Internships will provide students with experience in the tax, accounting, or audit field. All internships are paid a competitive wage and are eligible for course credit, depending on the applicant’s school requirements. The firm will strive to achieve whatever standards the requirements dictate.

The success and growth of the firm is highly dependent on the quality of the CP&A team. Therefore, the firm is committed to place a minimum of one intern per year. All interns will be reviewed and definitely considered for full-time employment after graduation.
